A Sweet Target Shopping Tip

Ever had something catch your eye at Target, but couldn't find the price? ME TOO. The worst is when it's something heavy, or maybe just plain awkward to carry around while you hunt down the nearest price scanner. For instance, these two items..

Both were listed at full price, but I had just seen them on clearance at a different location the day before. Of course I had to double check! Next time you run into something like this, instead of lugging those heavy things around, just take a (focused) picture of the barcode with your phone and scan it from there!

Works like a charm!

If The Shoe Fits, Buy It In Every Color

Let me just start by saying that JCPenney is my favorite store. I've been waiting for these black heels to go on sale and when I stopped by this past weekend they were marked down to $14.97! After the additional 50% off (shoe and purse) markdowns sale they were running I was basically forced to get them in every color. :)

With the 10% off total purchase coupon I received through text my total was less than $22! For three pairs of heels originally marked $35 each.

JCP Athlete

Over tax free weekend I stopped by JCPenney to look around. As I was leaving the dressing room empty handed I noticed a pair of Nike Dri-FIT shorts on the "go back" rack with a clearance price of $5.99! So I took a look around the Athletic's and found these five items for the same price of $5.99.

The original prices of these items added up to $158 and I only spent $29.95!! Penney's has a great selection of work out gear, especially Nike stuff. The wonderful thing is that they almost always seem to put it on sale/clearance; Nike shoes too!

Next time you're at the mall don't rule out good ole JCP. I think you'd be pleasantly surprised.

Get Your Cotton On...On.

I've only ever been an online window shopper until I discovered Cotton On's incredible sale section. Free shipping on orders over $45 AND no sales tax for me here in Tennessee since there isn't a location in the state. Here are the 9 items I got for under $50.
